ICYMI: Nature featured 2x on new BP 7 Track EP "The Supreme Seven" (2020) and 9 Track "The Supreme Seven REMIX" (2021)

Over the last several years hip-hop has gotten to know producer BP (@BP11701 on Twitter, @ScientificLens on YouTube). We've watched his portfolio consistently grow and the quality of his beats get deeper and more consistent. In 2020 he's dropped a 7 track EP of some of his best work to date "The Supreme Seven" featuring Nature, Tragedy Khadafi, Ras Kass and more. Nate is featured on two tracks, "So Many" (a Nature solo joint) and "New Day" alongside Tragedy Khadafi. I've embedded the full LP on Spotify below.

It's also worth noting in 2021 BP released a REMIX of the EP featuring new versions of each track plus a couple of new ones including "Fistful of Dynamite" which features Tragedy, Nature, and E Class.

Nature x Noreaga - Nate finally appears on DRINK CHAMPS (link)

The fans have been demanding it for a long time and Nature has finally made an appearance on the hit podcast / RevoltTV video series DRINK CHAMPS with Noreaga and DJ EFN. Queensbridge United (Metta World Peace & Challace)

Everybody's favorite NBA World Champion "Metta World Peace" aka Ron Artest has just released a new track with his new rap group "Queensbridge United". According to their Facebook page "Queensbridge United is the movement bringing all Queensbridge artists together and keeping the QB Legacy alive." Currently the group consists of Metta World Peace and fellow Queensbridge native Challace.

The first release from the upcoming Queensbridge United is entitled "Certified" and was produced by Sha Money XL. The track features fellow QB rappers Nayshawn and Littles. I didn't even know Littles was out of prison, but I've always though his rhymes were dope so I was happy to see him on this track. Peep it below and let me know what ya'll think. I'm sure Nate will be on this project, he's always shown Ron Ron mad love and they've been on quite a few projects before. Enjoy!

NEW VIDEO - WILLIAM COOPER feat. NATURE - Something Ain't Right

A couple of updates for today... first is a brand new video from William Cooper (@WILLIAM_COOPER_) called "Something Ain't Right". The track is produced by BP (@BP11701) and features a verse from "a Queensbridge legend" and former Firm addition Nature (@TheRealNature). For those who don't know, William Cooper is a rapper out of Newark, New Jersey and is probably best known for his work as part of the Black Market Militia (Killah Priest, Tragedy Khadafi, William Cooper, Timbo King, Hell Razah). He took his name from a conspiracy theorist who died in the 90's. The track is from his God's Will LP and was also featured in 2015 on Nature's "Ashtray Effect 3" mixtape. Cooper and Nature have collaborated previously on the 2010 track and video for "Bring it Back".

The video is... interesting. It takes aim at the Patriot Act and starts off with a scene where the FBI is interrogating / holding a suspect presumingly with no evidence or charges being pressed. Nature gets called into William Cooper / Black Market Militia / GemStarr HQ as they concoct a plan to fight the power and rescue the unidentified prisoner being held against his will. Nature's verse is ill but doesn't quite fully align with the premise of the track (or William Cooper's spoken "lesson" at the end of the video) but it doesn't detract at all from the overall dopeness of the concept and the video. Can't say I really mind the Patriot Act, this is a new era and I'm down (for now) with the government taking some liberties as they're trying to keep us safe. Overall this is an ill track and has been getting picked up by mad blogs including EgoTripLand, 2DopeBoyz, Illuminati2G, and HipHopDX. Peep the full video below.

Top 10 Nature Tracks of 2013: #2 East Coast Party

The second most requested track in our countdown this year was "East Coast Party". The track was produced by Little Vic and was released as the second official video from the Seasons Changed: Spring Edition EP. As the first officially released Nature project in a long ass time I know people really appreciated and enjoyed Spring Edition. This track and video embodies the title, as the video encapsulates an East Coast hip-hop party with the full cast of characters from the crew. The joint has a weekend feel to it, with Nature and the crew partying it up before, after, and during the show in the video. This was also the first time Nature and Deep Concepts linked up with Hostage Media for a video and that partnership has led to a number of impressive visuals. Top 10 Nature Tracks of 2013: #3 Metal Bars (DJ Skizz feat. Masta Ace & Nature)

As I wrote back in 2013, one of the best things about Nature's relationship with Deep Concepts Media is the rebirth of collaborations with other artists, producers, and DJ's. Boston native DJ Skizz brought us probably the best DJ collaboration LP of 2013 with his "B.Q.E. (Brooklyn-Queens Experience)". The LP paired Brooklyn and Queens rappers together and had a bunch of great combinations. One of the highlights was the concept track from Skizz featuring Masta Ace and Nature, Metal Bars. The track is a back and forth phone conversation between Masta Ace, who is still hustlin back at home on the block, and Nature, who on the track is rapping from inside prison.

The video follows the same concept, with the duo rapping / conversating over a prison pay phone and a burner. If you haven't seen it I've included the video link below. Top 10 Nature Tracks of 2013: #4 Summer Breeze feat. Cormega & Tommy 2 Face

This was the absolute perfect track for the Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP. DJ Concept absolutely crushes this beat, it makes me feel like I'm sitting at a cookout laughing with the crew. Nature & Mega deliver solid verses and one of Queensbridge's hardest working up and coming rappers Tommy 2 Face delivers a smooth summertime hook. Now that it's been over 10 years I think people sometimes forget how these Queensbridge greats have come full circle. Nature and Cormega on yet another track, showing Queensbridge unity. For those who don't know the full story, Cormega was originally supposed to be in Dr Dre's supergroup The Firm alongside Nas, AZ & Foxy Brown. When he refused to sign a production deal with Nas they dropped him from The Firm, replacing him with Nature. Up to that point Nature & Mega had never had any beef, but things heated up when Nature & Nas were doing a radio freestyle and Nature spit the line "mad cause I jacked ya spot" in reference to Cormega. Cormega & Mike Delorian released Fuck Nas & Nature (most of which was just off the top of the dome disses, not a recount of actual events).

Through all of that Nature & Mega never really had any true beef, and years later they first appeared together on Da Bridge 2001. They've both always been quick to show love, Mega has included Nate in a number of his shows over the years, and it has been great to see dope tracks like Professional Style (Cormega feat. AZ & Nature, produced by Alchemist) and Summer Breeze come from 2 of QB's best. FYI - Those who love this Queensbridge Connection probably don't have to wait much longer... Cormega's long anticipated next LP "Mega Philosophy" is dropping later this year and will feature Nature. AZ is on there too. Enjoy this one!

Nature: Seasons Changed Fall Edition EP released Tuesday 11/19/2013!

After only a few hours Nature's new Seasons Changed: Fall Edition EP is already making an impact on the iTunes Hip Hop / Rap new release charts. When I copped the EP this morning he was right behind E-40 in the #3 spot. Pretty dope news. The EP is only $5.99 and contains 7 new tracks plus an intro & outro. From beginning to end this might be my favorite installment of the Seasons Changed EP series to date... right off the bat beats are dope and the lyrics are on point. The first single, Big Blunts, features top notch production from DJ Concept and a great guest verse from Fred Da Godson. The track is already getting tons of love as the latest smokers anthem to come from Nate.

I'm a big fan of the Movie Star track, it takes me back to the 1999 Black Showbiz days (peep this YouTube vid if ya never heard that track before... shout to HipHopGiant). Fantasy and Miracle are two of my other favorites! My only complaint about this EP is that he didn't lay a verse down over that Outro... I kept waiting. One of the best things we've noticed from Deep Concepts Media over the past several years is their collaborative work ethic, hustling hard and doing whatever it takes to get other artists on their projects and getting their production team and artist lineup onto other projects. The latest fruit from all of that labor has materialized in the form of a very dope concept track from DJ Skizz featuring Masta Ace and Nature. The track is a back and forth phone conversation between Masta Ace, who is still hustlin on the block, and Nature, who is doing a bid and wondering how things are going on the outside. Nature & Noreaga - TIME IS MONEY (Official Video)

We're pretty late with this one... the web has already been blowing up over the latest Nature & Noreaga visual "Time is Money". NORE(aka P.A.P.I. aka Mr. Superslime) had been mentioning the video shoot all the way back in August and the final product has been getting hyped by all of the blogs since September. This is the second video from the dope new Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP from Nature. If you haven't seen checked the video out yet we've included it below. Track was produced by platinum producer Xtreme Beatz and is just the latest dope track coming from Nature since he's been signed to Deep Concepts Media. Nature: Seasons Changed - Summer Edition EP out NOW

The hightly anticipated follow up to his Seasons Changed: Spring Edition EP, Nature dropped his Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP TODAY! I am absolutely loving this Summer Breeze joint featuring Tommy 2 Face and Cormega. This is the first time I've heard Mega on a Nature album and it's refreshing to not only see but hear Queensbridge unity in a track. Fellow Queensbridge rapper Tommy 2 Face on there too, if ya'll don't know him head over to darkageent.com where he has a number of tapes available for download with about 5 or 6 joints featuring Nature.

The Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP also features Noreaga... who might be able to take just as much credit as Nas for helping introduce Nature to the hip-hop world. It was NORE who got Nature on Banned From TV so we've gotta show him some love for helping get us a classic verse on one of the all time great hip-hop collaboration joints. Noreaga and Nature... aka Magic and Bird.... have worked together countless times in their careers but this EP also marks the first time NORE has landed on an official studio Nature project. Nice to know NORE is still in Nature's corner 15 years later, hopefully we'll see more NORE / Deep Concepts Media collaboration in the future.

First leak off Nature's Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP - "Fever" prod. by Skammadix

Hot off the presses from the Deep Concepts official Soundcloud is the brand new Nature joint "Fever". This is the first official leak from the upcoming Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP which I'm fully expecting to drop by early to mid August. The track is produced by Skammadix and features some top notch verses by Nature. 2013 has definitely been his best year that I can remember for a long time. Speaking of Seasons Changed..... a little birdie (aka Little Vic) seems to have spilled the beans that we might be able to expect Noreaga and Cormega features on Nature's upcoming Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP. Word on the street is that DJ Concept produced the joint with Mega (Concept has been crushing the production game lately, pay attention) and both the N.O.R.E. and Mega joints were mixed by Little Vic. All I can say is... dope. I've been fiending for another Mega and Nature collabo for awhile now, this will be the first Nature/Mega joint that is featured on one of Nate's projects and I'm expecting Mega to bring the heat.

Nature just dropped a dope new video for the track "East Coast Party" off his recent Seasons Changed: Spring Edition EP. A lot of people have been saying this is their favorite track on the EP. Dope production on the track from Little Vic, a lot of slick one liners, and now a shiny new video produced by Hostage Media. Brand New DJ Mickey Knox LP - All For The Love

Nature - American Dream (new 2012 / Obama / Election Day heat)

Nature dropped his 2nd themed joint of the fall season with his "American Dream" track. The track was released by Deep Concepts Media on Election Day, in celebration of what will hopefully be a second term for Obama where some change will actually happen. Pledging his allegiance to the streets Nature spits about his experience living in the hood and what the American Dream has meant for him. Da Chief - Do Me feat. Nature & Denali

The wonders of Twitter helped me stumble across another new track featuring Nature today. A surprisingly dope rapper out of Manchester, NH named Da Chief tweeted a link to his ReverbNation page asking people to check out his new track called Do Me featuring Nature & Denali. I obliged and was rewarded with a dope new track. The track starts off with an a vocal sample from Goodfellas over some piano... and then a dope beat kicks in. Nature - Documentary (snippet) - Produced by Q-Butta

Back in 2009 I was notified that this dude named Q-Butta, a talented up and coming video producer and director, was creating a documentary about Nature. I saw a 5 minute snippet of the documentary on YouTube (see video below). Nature talks about getting into the game, his song making process, and working with the legendary Dr. Dre. I had forgotten that the video on YouTube was just a snippet until today, somebody hit me up and asked me if I'd ever seen the final product. I hadn't, so I hit up Q-Butta on Twitter to ask. I haven't heard back yet but I'll definitely post up the response once I hear it.
