Marquee - Survivin in the Desert feat. Prince Po & Nature
In a time period where most of hip-hop is talking about a beef between two female rappers (Nicki Minaj vs Remy Martin) I thought I'd throw another name into the mix. Let me re-introduce ya'll to Marquee, a dope female emcee from NY, NY. Like Nature, Marquee has been splitting dope bars since the 90's. She's been featured on tracks with Kelis, Queen Latifah, Lord Finesse and many many more. Marquee has bars for days... for example "Fairytale, felon fables get you stitched up and stapled. Ain't no room for many plates when it's money on the table" from her... and it is dope bars like these that have attracted the attention of DJ's and bloggers nationwide. The second single from her debut LP "Femme Fatale" is called Survivin in the Desert and features Prince PO from Organized Konfusion and Nature. Peep the Survivin in the Desert track below, plus the debut single Raise The Bar (which features the verse above), and show Marquee some love on her Soundcloud and on her official Twitter over at @MarqeeeThe1.

Queensbridge United (Metta World Peace & Challace)
Everybody's favorite NBA World Champion "Metta World Peace" aka Ron Artest has just released a new track with his new rap group "Queensbridge United". According to their Facebook page "Queensbridge United is the movement bringing all Queensbridge artists together and keeping the QB Legacy alive." Currently the group consists of Metta World Peace and fellow Queensbridge native Challace.
The first release from the upcoming Queensbridge United is entitled "Certified" and was produced by Sha Money XL. The track features fellow QB rappers Nayshawn and Littles. I didn't even know Littles was out of prison, but I've always though his rhymes were dope so I was happy to see him on this track. Peep it below and let me know what ya'll think. I'm sure Nate will be on this project, he's always shown Ron Ron mad love and they've been on quite a few projects before. Enjoy!

Nature, Kool G Rap & Gotham Green - Cross Island Expressway
Saw this one on Twitter and wanted to share.... new track by Gotham Green featuring rap legends Kool G Rap & Nature called Cross Island Expressway. As expected they bring the heat, check it out via Gotham's soundcloud page below. It's a shame up and coming artists don't put together features from different parts of hip-hop history on the same track. You've got Gotham Green, who grew up idolizing Nature on the mic.... and both of them grew up admiring Kool G Rap. The result is a great collabo from Gotham Green's upcoming project child of an immigrant. Read more on that project here. If you want to hear more from Gotham on his upcoming projects check him out on Twitter here. Kool G Rap and Nature are also both on Twitter.

Top 10 Nature Tracks of 2013: #6 Never Fallin Off (feat. D.O.E.)
Nature has been slapping us in the face with dope new music lately so I need to get back on track with the countdown! This one is one of my personal favorites.... at #6 in our countdown is a dope joint off the Seasons Changed: Spring Edition EP. The track is called Never Falling Off and features D.O.E. Ya'll may remember D.O.E. from his days of making hits with NORE so it's nice to see him back on the scene and putting down a dope hook on this one. This wasn't the first time Nature and D.O.E. had linked up.... back when NORE released his unofficial 1 Fan a Day LP they had a track on there called For a Minute (audio below, courtesy of YouTube). If you're feeling this joint make sure to cop that Season Changed Spring EP and support DCMHipHip.com!

First leak off Nature's Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP - "Fever" prod. by Skammadix
Hot off the presses from the Deep Concepts official Soundcloud is the brand new Nature joint "Fever". This is the first official leak from the upcoming Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP which I'm fully expecting to drop by early to mid August. The track is produced by Skammadix and features some top notch verses by Nature. 2013 has definitely been his best year that I can remember for a long time. The buzz keeps building, a ton of blogs have already picked up this joint including 2dopeboys, antisellout, lavalordz, dotgotit, and many others. Listen and download the track below.
Speaking of Seasons Changed..... a little birdie (aka Little Vic) seems to have spilled the beans that we might be able to expect Noreaga and Cormega features on Nature's upcoming Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP. Word on the street is that DJ Concept produced the joint with Mega (Concept has been crushing the production game lately, pay attention) and both the N.O.R.E. and Mega joints were mixed by Little Vic. All I can say is... dope. I've been fiending for another Mega and Nature collabo for awhile now, this will be the first Nature/Mega joint that is featured on one of Nate's projects and I'm expecting Mega to bring the heat.

After the NORE feature.. I am mixing @THEREALNATURE featuring @realcormega ... Today is a historical day for me as a producer/engineer

Nature - Redemption (brand new 2012 heat)
Saw some tweets from Nature and DJ Kay Slay popping up on my timeline earlier this week.... so I immediately wondered... what is this Redemption shit Kay Slay is talking about? New Nature mixtape? New track? I need to find this ASAP...
A quick Twitter search brought me to a ton of DJ's and fans buzzing about a new Soundcloud leaked track by Nature and Deep Concepts Media called Redemptiom from his upcoming mixtape called the Ashtray Effect. The track is very dope... Nature flows over two different beats. They're both dope, the first one (done by Sickness) starts out reminding me of that old Ransom Note joint... and the second beat (done by DJ Supa Dave) flips the Rocky sample (Rocky movie snippets are mixed in throughout). Nature rips it up so I can see what Kay Slay and everybody else on Twitter was talking about. Here's the link to Soundcloud to listen and download. For anybody in NYC today Nature is doing a show with the Kid Daytona and more tonight at Halo lounge in Smithtown, Long Island. I'm sure he'll be performing this one. Enjoy!

Def Con 3 - The Massacre feat. Nature (Produced by Little Vic)
It's crazy how many new songs I've been hearing lately featuring Nature. Just found another gem on Twitter via Danny Rust aka @itsdefcon3. This Def Con 3 track hits hard with a nice beat by Little Vic. Nature's verse on this joint is superb. He just slays it for the last minute of the song. "Queensbridge to Islip / hustle on the night shift / breakin up ya happy home I'm the one ya wife with" this track is definitely going to get some airplay on NYC and other real urban hip hop stations around the country. The full track is below via Soundcloud and for those interested in hearing more by Def Con 3 definitely check their full Soundcloud side at http://soundcloud.com/defcon3-1. As usually please hit me up at @brendan207 if you have any new Nature tracks you've found and want featured on the site. Peace

UNRELEASED Noreaga feat. Nature - Never Promised Tomorrow (EXCLUSIVE)
I think more new and unreleased Nature tracks have come out in 2011 than any year since like 2000. NORE feat. Nature "Never Promised Tomorrow" was produced by SPK probably many years ago... but just saw the light of day earlier this year when SPK posted it on his Soundcloud. I didn't hear about it until today when Nature himself tweeted about the Youtube video. I always enjoy SPKilla beats... this one is no exception. The joint features three verses by NORE and the hook by Nature, rapping about how death is right around the corner. During the intro to Nature brings his usual dope adlibs. Nore closes the track with some adlibs as well... just talking off the top of the dome. I've talked to a lot of hip hop fans over the years and they consistently say that Nature and NORE have some of the best adlibs in the game and are a big part of what keeps their tracks entertaining. I definitely agree. I've embedded what looks like a fan created YouTube video below, unfortunately I don't have a download link for this joint. Make sure to follow @therealnature and @nore on twitter and ask them where you can cop this heat... and tell them to make some more. Enjoy.
