Marquee - Survivin in the Desert feat. Prince Po & Nature

In a time period where most of hip-hop is talking about a beef between two female rappers (Nicki Minaj vs Remy Martin) I thought I'd throw another name into the mix. Let me re-introduce ya'll to Marquee, a dope female emcee from NY, NY. Like Nature, Marquee has been splitting dope bars since the 90's. She's been featured on tracks with Kelis, Queen Latifah, Lord Finesse and many many more. Marquee has bars for days... for example "Fairytale, felon fables get you stitched up and stapled. Ain't no room for many plates when it's money on the table" from her... and it is dope bars like these that have attracted the attention of DJ's and bloggers nationwide. The second single from her debut LP "Femme Fatale" is called Survivin in the Desert and features Prince PO from Organized Konfusion and Nature. Peep the Survivin in the Desert track below, plus the debut single Raise The Bar (which features the verse above), and show Marquee some love on her Soundcloud and on her official Twitter over at @MarqeeeThe1.
