Nature - Welcome To My World (VIDEO)

On Welcome to My Would Nature pours his heart out about his life in the NYC projects. I heard an early version of this track earlier in 2012 and was really excited to hear the final track. Now the full version of the song has been released by Deep Concepts Media along with a dope video produced by PorterVision, one of the best up and coming videographers in the game right now. The track features a very smooth laid back beat done by SupaDave that fits Nature's relaxed flow perfectly. Great soul sample and solid scratches on the hook make this one of my favorite new Nature tracks of 2012. Within hours of the release via the Deep Concepts Media Twitter (@DeepConcepts) the track got picked up by a TON of the great hip-hop blogs, 2dopeboyz, NahRight, HipHopFeeling, GullyPost, Boxden, JBX:DC, GreenHitz, and of course this blog just to name a few. If you're running a hip-hop blog and haven't posted this for your audience step ya game up. We're all really looking forward to hearing more from Nature and SupaDave.... like Nate says in the track... get on board.

Just in case you're sleeping under a rock and haven't already you can check out Nature on Twitter @TheRealNature, on Facebook at facebook.com/natureqb, or on his rapidly growing Instagram page @therealnature. Peace.

Brand New DJ Mickey Knox LP - All For The Love

For anyone who has spent even one second browsing the Deep Concepts Media website (http://dcmhiphop.com) or chilled with any member of the huge Deep Concepts Media family of DJ's, producers, emcees, entrepreneurs, and fans, you know that their label is all about a deep, true love for hip-hop music. It's even more evident in DJ Mickey Knox's latest offering "All For The Love". The LP has some dope, laid back beats that real hip-hop heads will love, courtesy of Deep Concepts production vets Sickness, DJ SupaDave, DJ Concept, and Undefined. The LP also has some great futures, including Nature, Reek da Villain, Joell Ortiz, Peter Leo, Little Vic, Termanology, The Kid Daytona, Chaundon, Stat Quo, La The Darkman, LEGACY, Blaq Poet, Nutso, Jon Hope, Jon Connor, and many many more. The debut single, "Hip-Hop" starts with a sample you will recognize from Jay-Z's "Feelin It", and rhymes ensue over a relaxing interpretation of that famous piano set to a beat. My favorite parts of the track are actually when the piano drops out and all you hear is the beat. Listen to the track below and if you enjoy it please support real hip hop by copping the LP at Amazon.com (clicking the LP cover below also works). Definitely keep an eye on Deep Concepts in 2013 as they're consistently dropping great music and need support from the fans. Nature - American Dream (new 2012 / Obama / Election Day heat)

Nature dropped his 2nd themed joint of the fall season with his "American Dream" track. The track was released by Deep Concepts Media on Election Day, in celebration of what will hopefully be a second term for Obama where some change will actually happen. Pledging his allegiance to the streets Nature spits about his experience living in the hood and what the American Dream has meant for him. Joint has a dope guitar riff beat produced by the very talented DJ SupaDave. Listen and download the track below. Support Nature when he finally drops a project that ya'll can cop online! As an added bonus the YouTube homey NatureAppreciator has done one of his lyrics videos for this joint. If ya'll didn't know NatureAppreciator has a crazy YouTube page where he basically does videos for dope QB tracks with all of the lyrics included. Very cool guy to subscribe to on YouTube. Enjoy!

Nature - Redemption (brand new 2012 heat)

Saw some tweets from Nature and DJ Kay Slay popping up on my timeline earlier this week.... so I immediately wondered... what is this Redemption shit Kay Slay is talking about? New Nature mixtape? New track? I need to find this ASAP...

A quick Twitter search brought me to a ton of DJ's and fans buzzing about a new Soundcloud leaked track by Nature and Deep Concepts Media called Redemptiom from his upcoming mixtape called the Ashtray Effect. The track is very dope... Nature flows over two different beats. They're both dope, the first one (done by Sickness) starts out reminding me of that old Ransom Note joint... and the second beat (done by DJ Supa Dave) flips the Rocky sample (Rocky movie snippets are mixed in throughout). Nature rips it up so I can see what Kay Slay and everybody else on Twitter was talking about. Here's the link to Soundcloud to listen and download. For anybody in NYC today Nature is doing a show with the Kid Daytona and more tonight at Halo lounge in Smithtown, Long Island. I'm sure he'll be performing this one. Enjoy!

Deep Concepts Media - Meet the Team (Video)

As many of you already know, Nature has been recording heavy with a new crew during 2011-2012, Deep Concepts Media. In just a short period the Deep Concepts team has already had an impact on the NYC hip-hop scene. Deep Concepts Media seems to be cut from a different cloth than most other teams out there today... they're in the biz because they LOVE the music. They've lived this hip-hop shit for over 20 years and they're looking to help bring more great music into this world. That's the kind of label I want to support.

Peep the video below and meet the Deep Concepts Media team. Links to their official biographies per the Deep Concepts Media website (www.dcmhiphop.com) are also included below.

Tommy 2 Face - Time 2 Face The Music (Street Album)

Ya'll are already familiar with Tommy 2 Face. He's the Darkage Ent artist out of Queens who has been dropping dope Time 2 Face The Music mixtapes and Face Lift remixtapes for the last couple of years. I've already featured some of his recent tracks with Nature on this blog and a lot of ya'll reached out asking where you could hear more.

Today he dropped a full length, mastered street album version of his Time 2 Face the Music LP, available for free download. It features 16 tracks, including his first single They Ain't Like Me, which he dropped a video for back in April (included below). The LP also contains a never before released track, Regular Life, which features an ill verse from Nature... and some dope DeNiro samples from the movie Heat. I added a streaming link to the track below.

Overall the street LP is dope, living up to the moniker "Street Album" because this is definitely some stuff for the streets. Tracks like Go and Get It, We Don't Hear Ya'll, and Let It Breathe are all standout bangers. Chances are the next tinted out Escalade that rolls by will be bumpin this album. The full tracklist is below, just click on the album cover or this link to download the full LP from Mediafire.

If you need more Tommy 2 Face check out his official page over ReverbNation which features tons more of his tracks or get at him on Twitter.

Da Chief - Do Me feat. Nature & Denali

The wonders of Twitter helped me stumble across another new track featuring Nature today. A surprisingly dope rapper out of Manchester, NH named Da Chief tweeted a link to his ReverbNation page asking people to check out his new track called Do Me featuring Nature & Denali. I obliged and was rewarded with a dope new track. The track starts off with an a vocal sample from Goodfellas over some piano... and then a dope beat kicks in. Nature starts off the track with a great verse, nice and relatable as usual. Peep the track at ReverbNation below, hopefully my link to their widget works.

Nature - Documentary (snippet) - Produced by Q-Butta

Back in 2009 I was notified that this dude named Q-Butta, a talented up and coming video producer and director, was creating a documentary about Nature. I saw a 5 minute snippet of the documentary on YouTube (see video below). Nature talks about getting into the game, his song making process, and working with the legendary Dr. Dre. I had forgotten that the video on YouTube was just a snippet until today, somebody hit me up and asked me if I'd ever seen the final product. I hadn't, so I hit up Q-Butta on Twitter to ask. I haven't heard back yet but I'll definitely post up the response once I hear it.

Tommy 2 Face - Control Your Heart feat. Nature

I said I was going to feature more Tommy 2 Face and Nature collaborations but I didn't realize how many there were until I just downloaded all of the free Tommy 2 Face mixtapes available from the Darkage Ent website. He's got four tapes over there including The Face Lift, The Face Lift 2 (Remixes Edition), Time 2 Face the Music, and Time 2 Face the Music 2. Control Your Heart was is featured on the Face the Music 2 mixtape. I added a very ghetto streaming link from Soundclick below. Nate and Tommy break down dudes in the hood who stay getting too emotional. And just for those who are wondering, Nature and Tommy 2 Face have another collaboration on the mixtape which is also pretty dope... I'll post it tomorrow. Also FYI... tomorrow night Tommy 2 Face is opening for Jim Jones at a show in Danbury, CT at Eclipse Cafe. Here is the show flyer for anybody who wants to check that out.

Nature - In The Streets feat. Tommy 2 Face (Produced by M7)

It always amazes me how many fans US rappers have overseas. This track is a direct result of the influence NYC has had on the European Hip Hop scene. We've got Nature and Tommy 2 Face, both from Queensbridge, appearing on this track which was procuded by M7, who hails from Paris. This song originally appeared on the M7 compilation CD/DVD project entitled "NYC: The 5 Boroughs" which was released in 2009. This is one of two videos they shot for the LP. There is also a behind the scenes video which is also floating around YouTube. By the way you may remember M7 from an earlier post from this blog, Nature also appeared on the Lord Nez - Word is Bond track which was also produced by M7.

For those of ya'll who haven't heard of Tommy 2 Face you might want to get familiar. Although he's just on the hook for this track he's been hustling quite a bit lately in Queensbridge. Signed to Darkage Entertainment he's got several mixtapes dropping soon and countless mixtape appearances under his belt. I'll be featuring a few more Nature and Tommy 2 Face collaborations over the next few weeks. If ya'll want to get a head start you can check Tommy 2 Face out on Facebook or peep his stuff at the Darkage Ent website.

Ben Frank feat. Nature & Downleezy - Camera Thugz

So I came across this joint a couple of weeks ago on 57thAve.com and I sat on it for a minute. The joint is by Ben Frank and features a verse by Nature and has Downleezy on the hook. It's getting at all of the internet thugs out there and is off of the upcoming Ben Frank A.M.I.L. VI mixtape. I'm assuming that stands for All Money is Legal... what ever happened to AMIL anyway... Can I Get A answer? To be honest this ain't my favorite style from Nate, I prefer his tracks about chillin in the hood smoking and just doing everyday, relate-able stuff, vs the bragging about money and hoes and thuggin. But I figure I'd share for everybody... gotta always show love to everybody in the Thugged Out Millitainment camp. Stream below is courtesy of the Hip Hop Stock Exchange.

Narez - Streetz is Cynical feat. Nature

A lot of you have been asking about Narez and wanted me to post up a few of the older joints he's done with Nature. I think this one, Streetz is Cynical, was the first joint they did together. I think it was recorded back in 2009 for Narez's "Hope of a Hostage" mixtape and it was produced by I-CUE. I posted another Nature and Narez collaboration "Cruise Control" and you can really hear the growth in Narez's flow between 2009 and 2011. I still have a couple more collaborative joints to post up with Nature and Narez flowing together. I really think Narez is going to make some noise in the future, the east coast latin rapper lane is definitely still pretty wide open. Anyway enjoy the joint and make sure to check out my earlier Narez and Nature post. You can check out more music from Narez on his MySpace or his YouTube or get at him on Twitter via @talk2narez. Enjoy.

G.S. Advance feat. Nature - My Piece (over The Roots "Star" beat)

G.S. Advance is another rapper out of Queens who has been putting out mixtapes over the past few years. I really miss mixtapes, especially the style that DJ Clue / DJ Absolut / DJ Kool Kid used to put out. The ones that not only featured new tracks... but also featured exclusive freestyles with artists flowing over whatever beat was hot at the moment. This joint features G.S. Advance and Nature flowing over the The Roots "Star" beat... which is a dope beat that I never thought I'd hear anybody else flowing over besides Black Thought... but it works. This track is from G.S. Advance's 2009 Mixtape "Advance Classes Vol 2" but I hadn't even heard it until today. Hope ya'll enjoy. If you want to hear more from G.S. Advance you can check out his Facebook fan page here.
