Nature's "Seasons Changed: Winter Edition" EP now available

While we were busy counting down the Top 10 Nature Tracks of 2013 Deep Concepts Media has quietly been churning out more quality new material for Nature's fourth and final installment in the Seasons Changed EP series.... the Seasons Changed Winter Edition EP. The first track that was leaked from the EP was "Brighter Days" by Nature featuring Black Rob. The track was produced by Velotz and has already been creating quite the buzz on the Twitter. Right on the heels of that release was the very dope remix and video to Welcome to My World (called Welcome to My World Revisited). The track, produced by DJ Supa Dave, is one of the EP's many standout joints.

The full tracklist can be viewed and the EP can be streamed / purchased below. As you can see the EP has several dope features from Black Rob to Ali Vegas to DCM's own young prodigy Peter Leo and multi-taleneted producer/rapper Little Vic. From beginning to end I'm enjoying this EP... DJ Concept killed the intro/outro and the production doesn't slow down all the way through with dope beats from Marco Polo (Throw It Up), DJ Supa Dave (Welcome to My World Revisited), DJ Insite (Up in the Sky), Little Vic (Catch Me), Velotz (Brighter Days), Fly Purple (Last Dayz) and Skammadix (No Assumption). Support by copping the EP below via Bandcamp, over at iTunes, or on Amazon MP3.

Nature - Seasons Changed EP Series Announced

According to Deep Concepts Media (www.dcmhiphop.com) and Nature's official Twitter page he will be releasing a "Seasons Changed" EP series. For those living under a rock since 1998 the EP series plays off the name of Nature's classic 2000 LP "For All Seasons". The EP series will be released in 4 installments, 1 EP dropping per season for the upcoming year. The first installment, Spring, is dropping April 30th.

I don't have any official details on the tracklist but it's a pretty safe bet the dope homegrown Deep Concepts Media production team will be all over the LP. I'm guessing Sickness and DJ Supadave for sure, probably Skammadix and maybe production and a feature from Little Vic. I've also seen Nature interacting with some other dope producers on Twitter lately, namely Marco Polo, Buckwild, Xtreme Beats, and Red Spyda.... so I'm pretty excited to hear some new tracks. I think an official announcement will be coming soon. Follow @DeepConcepts, @TheRealNature, and @QueensbridgeRap for all the latest.

Brand New DJ Mickey Knox LP - All For The Love

For anyone who has spent even one second browsing the Deep Concepts Media website (http://dcmhiphop.com) or chilled with any member of the huge Deep Concepts Media family of DJ's, producers, emcees, entrepreneurs, and fans, you know that their label is all about a deep, true love for hip-hop music. It's even more evident in DJ Mickey Knox's latest offering "All For The Love". The LP has some dope, laid back beats that real hip-hop heads will love, courtesy of Deep Concepts production vets Sickness, DJ SupaDave, DJ Concept, and Undefined. The LP also has some great futures, including Nature, Reek da Villain, Joell Ortiz, Peter Leo, Little Vic, Termanology, The Kid Daytona, Chaundon, Stat Quo, La The Darkman, LEGACY, Blaq Poet, Nutso, Jon Hope, Jon Connor, and many many more. The debut single, "Hip-Hop" starts with a sample you will recognize from Jay-Z's "Feelin It", and rhymes ensue over a relaxing interpretation of that famous piano set to a beat. My favorite parts of the track are actually when the piano drops out and all you hear is the beat. Listen to the track below and if you enjoy it please support real hip hop by copping the LP at Amazon.com (clicking the LP cover below also works). Definitely keep an eye on Deep Concepts in 2013 as they're consistently dropping great music and need support from the fans. Follow @DeepConcepts on Twitter and stay tuned to DCMhiphop.comfor full updates!

Nature - To My Advantage (Produced by Pete Rock)

Apparently I missed the 10th Anniversary of the original release of the Pete Rock "PETEStrumentals LP". The LP title is a bit of a misleading as several of the tracks on the LP feature vocals... including a hidden gem from Nature called "To My Advantage" (Click here to buy the MP3 from Amazon.com). The track is dope and actually isn't the first time Nature has recorded with Pete Rock. Check out the video below where you can stream the audio. If you're looking to pick up the whole PETEStrumentals CD I'd definitely recommend buying from Sandbox Automatic... they were always one of my favorite places to cop underground hip-hop.
