Nature drops "Ashtray Effect Vol. 3" mixtape via DatPiff

Last week Nature dropped the brand new "Ashtray Effect Vol. 3" mixtape. Mixed by Mickey Knox and DJ Concept the tape is 21 tracks deep and includes a ton of heat including cameos from Dr. Dre, Cormega, Noreaga, Capone, Masta Ace, Tragedy Khadafi, Littles, Typ Ill, William Cooper, Willie Stubz, John Jiggs, B White, BX Bangaz, Jozeemo, Bless and more. There are quite a few rarer tracks on there including a few I'd never heard... And as usual almost the entire tape is dope. Nature kills features and many of these were originally done for other artist projects. The mixtape has already gotten been burning up the blogs like 2DopeBoyz, NahRight, RapRadar and more. Top 10 Nature Tracks of 2013: #5 Time is Money feat. N.O.R.E.

Any list of best Nature tracks from ANY period in his career (scratch that, any list of best hip-hop tracks from any period period) isn't complete without a Nature & Noreaga collabo. Ever since the late 90's Nature & NORE have been ripping it up together. Magic & Bird. Banned from TV. Blood Money Pt. II. Countless DJ Clue and other mixtape tracks, freestyles and unreleased joints. The legendary hip-hop blogger Hip Hop Giant put together one of the best vs mixtapes of the last decade with his Queensbridge 2 Lefrak mixtape. Nature & NORE have kept it going in 2013 with a brand new collaboration.... Time is Money. The track appeared on the Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP and was produced by Xtreme Beats.

Nature: Seasons Changed - Summer Edition EP out NOW

The hightly anticipated follow up to his Seasons Changed: Spring Edition EP, Nature dropped his Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP TODAY! I am absolutely loving this Summer Breeze joint featuring Tommy 2 Face and Cormega. This is the first time I've heard Mega on a Nature album and it's refreshing to not only see but hear Queensbridge unity in a track. Fellow Queensbridge rapper Tommy 2 Face on there too, if ya'll don't know him head over to darkageent.com where he has a number of tapes available for download with about 5 or 6 joints featuring Nature.

The Seasons Changed: Summer Edition EP also features Noreaga... who might be able to take just as much credit as Nas for helping introduce Nature to the hip-hop world. It was NORE who got Nature on Banned From TV so we've gotta show him some love for helping get us a classic verse on one of the all time great hip-hop collaboration joints. Noreaga and Nature... aka Magic and Bird.... have worked together countless times in their careers but this EP also marks the first time NORE has landed on an official studio Nature project. Nice to know NORE is still in Nature's corner 15 years later, hopefully we'll see more NORE / Deep Concepts Media collaboration in the future.

UNRELEASED Noreaga feat. Nature - Never Promised Tomorrow (EXCLUSIVE)

I think more new and unreleased Nature tracks have come out in 2011 than any year since like 2000. NORE feat. Nature "Never Promised Tomorrow" was produced by SPK probably many years ago... but just saw the light of day earlier this year when SPK posted it on his Soundcloud. I didn't hear about it until today when Nature himself tweeted about the Youtube video. I always enjoy SPKilla beats... this one is no exception. The joint features three verses by NORE and the hook by Nature, rapping about how death is right around the corner. During the intro to Nature brings his usual dope adlibs. Nore closes the track with some adlibs as well... just talking off the top of the dome. I've talked to a lot of hip hop fans over the years and they consistently say that Nature and NORE have some of the best adlibs in the game and are a big part of what keeps their tracks entertaining. I definitely agree. I've embedded what looks like a fan created YouTube video below, unfortunately I don't have a download link for this joint.
